THE GERALD W. OWEN BOOK PRIZE
The Gerald Owen Book Prize stands as the pinnacle of achievement for students pursuing the prestigious TEP designation via the STEP Canada Diploma in Trusts and Estates. Awarded annually to the student who demonstrates outstanding performance in all four rigorous STEP Canada Diploma Courses, this prize is a testament to dedication, intellect, and the pursuit of excellence in the intricate domain of trusts and estates. It symbolizes not only scholarly prowess but also a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in navigating the legal and financial landscapes in the trusts and estates industry. The recipient is selected based on their overall average mark across the four courses, with additional consideration given to the depth of analysis and quality of the essay answers on the final examinations. Exclusion Criteria: Students with an exemption from a diploma course, and therefore do not have a grade in each of the four courses, are not considered for this award.
