CETA Course 2: Advanced Topics in Estate and Trust Administration

ELIGIBILITY FOR CETA2
Completion of CETA1: Foundations of Estate and Trust Administration OR by exemption from CETA1.

EXEMPTION ELIGIBILITY
STEP Canada will grant students an exemption from CETA1: Foundations of Estate and Trust Administration if the student has completed the Estate and Trust Administration course, through CSI, within the past 5 years.

NOTE: If applying for the exemption, you must wait to be approved before continuing to the CETA registration process. Confirmation of approval will be sent via email.

FEES The course fee for CETA2 is $595 + applicable taxes. This includes access to the online classroom and one online exam attempt.

In addition to the course fee, students are required to become an Affiliate of STEP Canada while completing the program. The Affiliate fee is $200 + applicable taxes (calculated on 50% of the fee). For membership benefits, please see membership/benefits.aspx.

REGISTERING FOR CETA Students are asked to register online for the CETA courses by logging in to the STEP Canada secure website. From there, please go to the CETA tab on the left-hand menu and click “How to Enroll”.

If you already have an existing login, please sign-in using this link and proceed to the CETA tab: secure/login.aspx

If you do not have an existing profile, you will need to create and activate a non-member account to access the online registration area. Please use the following link to create your non-member account secure/register.aspx

PAYMENT CETA registration fees are subject to provincial or territorial taxes. STEP Canada accepts VISA, MasterCard, and American Express for online payment. If you prefer to pay by cheque, you will still need to create an online account and must submit your cheque with a copy of the automated confirmation. Access to the e-classroom will be given to students once payment has been received.

E-LEARNING PLATFORM Please note that the Certificate for Estate and Trust Administration (CETA) program will be delivered completely online, including exams and proctoring.
